If your last trip to Japan had you craving for its sushi and meats, you are in for a real treat!
Earlier this week, I visited the latest player in the gourmet food business – Ethan’s Gourmet. Primed as a premium-food boutique retail shop, Ethan’s Gourmet specializes in savoury products from the Land of the Rising Sun. About 80 to 90% of its products are imported from Japan, while the rest hail from New Zealand and the rest of the world.
The gourmand in you will be happy to know that Ethan’s Gourmet has a variety of Japanese seafood range like Unagi, Japan Botan and Japan Yellowtail, as well as being the only gourmet in Singapore to carry the famous Japan Tajima Wagyu (same calf as Kobe beef).
It also carries the popular Kagoshima brand of Wagyu beef. In addition, the Kobe beef that it carries is also 15 to 20% CHEAPER than that of Meidi-Ya at Liang Court, which until now was the only place in Singapore to buy quality Kobe beef.
I have not been to Japan. But I have been told that the Japanese Pork – Shirobuta (white pork) or Kurobuta loin (black pork) is to die for. The meat is so SWEET that no seasoning is required. If you must, drizzling it with a little sea salt and black pepper is all it takes to give you tremendous gastronomic pleasure.
Guess what? Ethan’s Gourmet carries this tasty meat! And you will be pleasantly surprised at how affordable these epicurean quality meat are at Ethan’s.
Also, check out the New Zealand meats while you are there. Personalized service and a trusted partnership in your family’s dietary needs are priorities in Ethan’s Gourmet goals, so do ask about their delivery service or online shopping needs.
Ethan’s Gourmet also supply restaurants and hotels (their wholesale business). The following are hot sellers at Ethan’s Gourmet that foodies love:
