Want to do something different this Valentine’s Day? Head down to the Asian Civilisations Museum and build some lasting memories with your loved ones on the islands Historic buildings that became National Monuments on 14 February 1992.
On this Cupid’s Day — 14 February, the Preservation of Sites and Monuments Division (PSM) of the National Heritage Board invites you to get romantic and bond with your family members by exploring the island’s five historic buildings that include the National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Art Museum, Old Parliament House, Asian Civilisations Museum and the Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall.
This programme aims to help families bond together through a race and some hands-on activities, and to generate interest in some of Singapore’s most important landmarks. Participants will also stand to win attractive prizes!
SAVE the romance for later in the day or in the evening. Form a team of at least two people with your family members and have a fun, family time exploring the historic National Monuments of Singapore. A maximum of six participants per team. So put on your walking shoes and get ready for the race.
Be prepared if you are bringing your kids or parents — expect to walk a distance of about 2km outdoors.
