Friday – Opening day of Smart Kids Asia 2013 – The World’s Largest Education Fair for Kids.
After the Marriage Convention, I rushed down to the Smart Kids Asia where I met up with a number of mummy bloggers to check out what was at the Smart Kids Asia.
There were so much to taste, try, learn and experience. Be prepare to spend 4 to 5 hours there if you want your kids to attend any of the trial classes. I must say the organizers have anticipated the parents’ needs. There are seating areas in front of the stage so you can enjoy the show or rest your weary legs. There are also tables available in case your wee ones are hungry and needed to be fed. For those who are still nursing, there’s a nursing room near the stage area where you can nurse with some privacy and “quiet”.
What’s there to do?
With over 200 exhibitors, there are loads of activities for your kids to do, and when they are bored with the trials, there are lots of funfair games for them to play and performances for them to watch.
Look out for the roving mascots – Skippy, Brands, Garfield, Dora, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles etc…
The aisle between the exhibit booths are wide, but can still be tricky to navigate a stroller with so many people walking around. It may be easier to carry baby or toddler in a baby carrier. Alternatively, bring your helper along so that she can help mind your child at the play area while you check out the other booths.
New and Innovative Finds
Aside from the usual brands targeting moms, I’m excited to share my new finds with you – Dabox, KloneWorld and Magic Whiteboard. Check them out if you are going to the exhibition. Otherwise, look out for my reviews on these innovative products next week.
