1) New Year’s Day — 1 January, 2014 (Wednesday)

2) Chinese New Year — 31 January and 1 February, (Friday and Saturday)

3) Good Friday — 18 April, 2014 (Friday)

4) Labour Day — 1 May, 2014 (Thursday)

5) Vesak Day — 13 May, 2014 (Tuesday)

6) Hari Raya Puasa — 28 July, 2014 (Monday)

7) National Day — 9 August, 2014 (Saturday)

8) Hari Raya Haji — 5 October, 2014* (Sunday)

9) Deepavali — 23 October, 2014** (Thursday)

10) Christmas Day — 25 December, 2014 (Thursday)

* The following Monday will be a public holiday.

** Subject to change. Tentatively, Deepavali will fall on, October 23 in 2014. This date will need to be reconfirmed against the Indian Almanac when it is available. Should there be a change in the date, the Ministry of Manpower will issue a media release to announce the change accordingly.
